Install WebCenter Portal and WebCenter Content required the java installation, infrastructure and a database.
Note: WebCenter Content required a NFS in a cluster infrastructure.
Let’s see how to install WebCenter Portal and WebCenter Content in a cluster infrastructure.
WebCenter Portal Binaries:
You need to install the binaries in all your nodes or VMs. Oracle support another solution, the installation of the binaries in share file system, in our case we install the binaries in every Virtual Machine.
- Load java software in /home/oracle/software/webcenterportal
- Decompress the infrastructure software
- Unzip V779243.zip
- Launch the installation and complete the wizard installation
- /opt/java/jdk1.8.0_111/bin/java -d64 -jar fmw_12.2.1.2.0_wcportal.jar

You will need the SID and SCAN Hostname or IP of your database.
- Navigate to /opt/oracle/products/Oracle_Home/oracle_common/bin

Now that you have Java, Infrastructure, the binaries and the schemas created, you will need to create and configure your Weblogic Domain.
